Daisy Kingdom Doll Dresses

I LOVE Daisy Kingdom dresses.
Whenever I'd browse through patterns, I'd pause for a while to admire the Daisy Kingdom dress patterns, taking a moment to imagine how adorable they'd turn out in different fabrics.

So, when I found patterns for American Girl doll dresses that were Daisy Kingdom, I was in heaven. I had to make some up as quickly as possible!

Here are just three that I have done. I am so thrilled with how they turned out!
They were a little more work than normal, but the results were SO worth it.

Take a look, then head over to my Etsy site. I'll post some there soon. :D

Shana's Hats

My daughter is recently obsessed with vintage style crocheted hats. Some of them are pretty cute. Here's a pic of one of them, and at the bottom is a link to her etsy site. Enjoy.

Amy Butler Fabric

As a crafter who loves fabric, I just had to share a link with you guys. If you love Amy Butler fabric, I found a seller on Etsy who sells it for $6.95 a yard.
I don't know about you, but the cheapest I could find locally was $8.00 a yard.
True, she does charge shipping, but if your order was more than a couple yards, it would still be cheaper.
So...... check it out. Here's the link. http://fabricfetish.etsy.com
Enjoy!

Novemberfest!

Sorry my posting has been nonexistent lately. I have been working like crazy to get ready for Novemberfest - a local craft fair that takes place the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving.
I look forward to going, and I've been sewing in all my spare time.
I hope to get some more pictures on here and my etsy site soon! And if you're in Cache Valley for Thanksgiving, come to Novemberfest and check out my booth!

New Items

I'm so excited about how these turned out! I love the peasant dress. It has such a retro look. I made a few with a flower embellishment and for a couple of them, I even found a peace symbol! It's the seventies all over!

I love the sparkly fabric I used for the Giselle curtain dress. I'm going to be ordering shoes to match this one soon. I can't decide whether to go with silver sparkle, royal sparkle, or clear princess shoes.

The red "tango" dresses were so fun to work on! They all used the same fabric but are all just a little different. The two with the scallop edge on the bodice were my original idea, and I just love how they turned out.

Welcome to my site! I hope you'll enjoy your time here! I make doll fashions for 18 inch dolls, such as American Girl dolls by Pleasant Company.
Please look through my pictures to get an idea of what I can do. All of my fashions are handmade and individual. I make all my fashions as I am inspired by the fabric that I have, so all are unique!
If you see something you like, please email me at janetsdolls@gmail.com. If not, check back often because I am always sewing new things. In fact, I just finished a dress based on Giselle's curtain dress from Enchanted, and I am working right now on a darling peasant dress that would be adorable on Julie. I will post pictures soon!

I am also looking into starting an account with etsy, so please check back for more updates!
