My newest project

Here's my latest project. I really like how this turned out! My favorite bit is the hearts embroidered on the bodice. :D

Need Buttons?

I love buttons. 

I have collected them forever, and they even provided hours of entertainment for my kids when they were younger. All I had to do was set them at the table with some thread, a needle, and my tin of buttons and they loved making button necklaces. 

Anyway, I found a shop on Etsy that I love for buttons. And I need more buttons like I need a hole in the head, but still, I love to look, and maybe one day I'll use enough of my buttons that I can justify buying more.

Daisy Kingdom Doll Dresses

I LOVE Daisy Kingdom dresses.
Whenever I'd browse through patterns, I'd pause for a while to admire the Daisy Kingdom dress patterns, taking a moment to imagine how adorable they'd turn out in different fabrics.

So, when I found patterns for American Girl doll dresses that were Daisy Kingdom, I was in heaven. I had to make some up as quickly as possible!

Here are just three that I have done. I am so thrilled with how they turned out!
They were a little more work than normal, but the results were SO worth it.

Amy Butler Fabric

As a crafter who loves fabric, I just had to share a link with you guys. If you love Amy Butler fabric, I found a seller on Etsy who sells it for $6.95 a yard.
I don't know about you, but the cheapest I could find locally was $8.00 a yard.
True, she does charge shipping, but if your order was more than a couple yards, it would still be cheaper.
